Flickr and the Library of Congress

I was lamenting that it seemed like too long since the Library of Congress updated its blog only to discover three recent posts (Jan. 16-18) discussing their pilot project with Flickr that just happened to coincide with the discovery of new pictures of Lincoln in a larger battle shot. With the power of Web 2.0, the Library was able to move forward much more quickly than just relying on their own expert staff.
